We love building with Lego® at Oshawa Public Libraries, but we want to see what YOU can do!
Imagine, design, and create your own Lego® masterpiece to enter the contest. Drop off your entry form or submit it online before time runs out. The deadline is January 6, the end of winter break. Finalists will be selected to display their creations at our Lego® Showcase on Saturday, January 19. Winning creations will be awarded a prize!
If you need inspiration, or would like to use the Library’s Lego® (supplies limited) to design your masterpiece, check out the Library’s Lego® Clubs and Bedtime Bash: Lego® Party.
How to Enter:
The contest is open to children in Grades 1-8, and will be judged within four grade ranges:
Grades 1-2; 3-4; 5-6 and 7-8.
Fill out the contest entry form and include a photo of your creation. Submissions can be online or in person.
Finalists from each grade range will be selected and invited to bring their Lego® creation to the showcase.
Your Lego® build must be original and cannot be a kit. You may use kit blocks, but the final build must be of your own design.
Entry form accepted from December 1 to January 6 (end of Winter Break). You can find it here.
Vote for your favourite starting January 14 on the Library’s Facebook page, and crown them the Crowd Pleaser.
