Health and Safety

The health and safety of our community and staff is our top priority.  When you visit the Library, we ask that you follow recommendations from Durham Region Health Department on how to protect yourself and others and reduce the spread of COVID-19:

  • Physical distancing, proper hand hygiene, and wearing a non-medical face mask or face covering is required while visiting the Library.
  • Remember:  Wash or sanitize your hands frequently, cough or sneeze into your elbow, avoid touching your face, and practice physical distancing.
  • Anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms must postpone their library visit and call Telehealth or their health care provider to be assessed.

For the most current information on COVID-19 in our area, in Canada, and around the world, and how to be proactive, protect yourself, and to help stop the spread of germs, visit here.
